Building

In November 2021, district voters agreed that we needed an updated and expanded facility to best serve our students pursuing Career Technical Education. This summer, the beginning phase of the construction process will begin. Although the career center building will remain untouched, sitework will be the main focus to prepare for the upcoming phases. This phase will include connecting the main building driveway with the Adult Education Center parking lot, expanding the rear parking lot and updating the wastewater treatment plant. In the fall we will begin to get the Adult Ed Center ready to utilize as swing space during the renovation of the career center. “We hope that after this initial phase is completed, we will be able to move at a faster pace into the next phase of this project,” said Rod Cheyney, Superintendent.

Although no set timeline has been established by SHP Architects and Hammond Construction, building renovation is projected to begin in the summer of 2024.
