High School Programs

Animal Veterinary Science

Students work directly with small, large and exotic animals in a lab environment, learning the necessary skills to pursue a veterinary technician career. Students will gain hands-on training for animal care and learn veterinary assisting skills necessary to communicate with animal owners.

    Learn various aspects of construction and related careers, including: estimating, framing, roofing, interior finishing, electrical, heavy equipment, and concrete work.

    Cosmetology

    Students use professional salon techniques to provide a full range of hair, nail, and skincare services in our full-service interactive salon. Students are offer the 1500 hours of study to meet State Board of Cosmetology eligibility requirements for the Ohio State Licensing examination.

    Students develop mind and body using advanced self-defense tactics and rigorous fitness training. Research and analyze current trends and issues in public safety. Turn your knowledge into a career as a first responder.

    Students work alongside professionally trained chefs to create gourmet foods, cakes, and pastries with artistic presentation. Learn to manage and operate a fast-paced, casual restaurant and cater community events at the White Apron Restaurant located at the Career Center.

    This program is structured to prepare students for the workforce and for post-secondary education, allowing students to get hands-on experience through diverse learning.

    Early Childhood Education

    Students plan activities that enhance a child’s intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development. Create, research, and provide developmentally appropriate learning materials and activities that make learning fun, while operating a state certified preschool.

    Graphic Communications

    Students explore the fundamental skills in traditional and digital art that are essential for designers. Individual creativity is encouraged throughout the program, from junior to senior year.

    Health Technology

    Experience a wide range of health careers through practical lab experiences and clinicals. Develop the medical skills, patient care, and confidentiality required by all health care professionals.

    This program teaches students how to plan, install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot residential and light commercial heating and cooling units. Students will be introduced to electrical, plumbing and pipefitting.

    This program moves beyond manufacturing and robotics to prepare students for the demands of real-world manufacturing facilities. Begin a pathway through skills-based education filled with the most up-to-date and relevant practices. Students will cover three main areas of curriculum: Electrical, Manufacturing Operations and Mechanics & Hydraulics.
