Adult Education recognized 43 program graduates at our graduation ceremony held on May 19. The graduation ceremony began by recognizing the outstanding accomplishments and achievements of this year’s students. Twelve students were awarded a white honor cord in recognition of perfect attendance. These twelve students attended every hour of their scheduled program without missing or being late. Thirty students were awarded a black, gold and white honor cord and were inducted into the National Adult Education Honor Society. Each month one student is recognized as the student of the month, these eight students were awarded a silver honor cord. Christopher Earlenbaugh was recognized as Student of the Year and received a gold honor cord. Additionally, six students received their high school diploma through one of four adult diploma programs. The diplomas are issued by Ohio Department of Education and presented to the student by Superintendent Rodney Cheyney.
