Friends of Adult Education
Endowment Fund
WHY FRIENDS OF ADULT EDUCATION?
Adult students, more often than not, are looking for future opportunities, whether they are looking to gain skills to enter the workforce or seeking to upskill for better career options.
Adult students find it nearly impossible to finance both their education and their family financial responsibilities.
The Friends of Adult Education Endowed Fund will provide scholarships to Adult Education students, making it possible for them to further their knowledge and workforce skills, which meet the needs of business and industry.
Your generous gift could make a difference in the lives of students and their families.
WHY DO WE NEED TO BUILD THE ENDOWMENT?
Funding for Adult Education is very difficult to find, outside of taking loans to help with the cost.
Adult students, burdened by family responsibilities, cannot afford to pay for the training needed for them to seek better employment opportunities.
This fund provides awards for eligible students who are working, but not a job which provides adequate income to afford the adult education training.
