RAM Robotic Arm Loads Halloween Treats
RAM students used one of their robotic arms to fill their bowl full of goodies to be distributed for the ECE preschool Trick or Treat!  Innovative idea, guys!

Sophomores on hand for the annual Sophomore Visitation heard current RAM students talk about and demonstrate the advanced manufacturing equipment, like this robotic arm, used in ACWHCC's RAMTEC lab. 



Learning to Program
RAM students are gaining marketable skills as they work to  program a robot that might be found in a manufacturing facility.

RAM was proud to have a RAM junior named Junior Student of the Month for October.  Keep up the good work!  

RAM Students Show Off Certificates
Just into the second grading period, these RAM students already are on the way to good-paying careers with their American Welding Society welding certificates.   Great job, guys!  

More Certifications
More RAM students have received certifications and this time they are in Yaskawa Safety Principles and Introduction to Robotics.  Certifications like these will be very useful in the world of work.

8th Graders Visit RAM
Mr. Simmering talks to visiting 8th graders about skills and certifications that can be earned in the RAM program.  

RAM Students Earn Certificates.  
  Fourteen RAM students recently earned various welding certificates from the American Welding Society along with OSHA 10 cards.  Good job!

  RAM Student Going Big!
A RAM senior will be furthering his technical education and building on his skills as he attends Tulsa Welding School in Jacksonville, FL after graduation.  Congrats!  

 Senior Projects
RAM seniors were able to apply and show off their knowledge with their final projects.  The required projects must be related to the  student's career-technical area of study and include a written research paper and an oral presentation in front of a panel of judges. Top - Judges look at the  bumper this senior built  for his truck. and (bottom) judges look over the log splitter built by another senior.

Guys With Gloves Meet RAM
Visiting sixth grade boys explored the RAMTEC laboratory at the Guys With Gloves event.  The boys watched various advanced manufacturing equipment in action and tried out the virtual welder under the watchful eye of a RAM student.  

Auditor Visits RAM
RAM students had the honor of meeting the Auditor of the State of Ohio during his recent surprise visit to ACWHCC.
