Office Technologies

General Office and Medical Office Concentration
Office Technologies is a 900-hour program (about 9 months) that provides comprehensive computer and office training designed to prepare students to use computers in today’s business world. This program allows students to build their own portfolio by choosing an area of concentration: general office or medical office. All students prepare for Microsoft Word and Excel certifications, learn Windows 10, focus on office management procedures, and master practical math applications. The general office concentration dives deep into Quickbooks, Microsoft PowerPoint, Access and Outlook and business communications. The medical office concentration specializes in medical billing and coding, medical terminology and anatomy, health insurance and electronic health records. Classes are offered online two days allowing students to work from home and attend classes on campus two and one half days a week.  Students are required to complete 80-hours of externship experience.
