College Credit Plus & Certifications at The Career Center

Welcome to navigating a pathway to graduation for 2023 and beyond. 
The Ohio Department of Education has detailed out the new requirements for students to graduate and Career Technical Education has been deemed a pathway to get a high school diploma.

Below is a quick overview of the pathways for students to obtain their diploma.

COMPETENCY
OPTION 1: Career Experience & Technical Skill 

The following programs offer industry certifications that meet the requirements for graduation for the 2023 class and beyond.  (Option 1 from above chart)

Career-Focused Activities (Demonstrate two of these; at least one Foundational)
  - Foundational:
            1. 
Proficient scores on WebXams
            2. A total of 12-point industry credentials (can combine for a total  of 12)

  - Supporting:
            1. Work-based learning
            2. Earn the required score on WorkKeys
            3. Earn the OhioMeansJobs Readiness Seal
