CJ Visits 179th Wing of Air Nat. Guard
CJ students spent a morning with the 179th Wing of the Air National Guard in Mansfield as they learned about the military and related careers, toured the base, climbed into a C-130, and handled firearms.   Thanks to the airmen for their time and hospitality.  



  

 

CJ Senior Honored
Criminal Justice is proud to have  an Ashland senior named as Senior Student of the Month for October.  Congrats!


Sophomores Visit 
CJ students set out the tools of their trade in November as they enticed sophomores to enroll in their program during Sophomore Visitation.


Junior Student of the Month Hails from CJ
A CJ junior was named November Junior of the Month and honored at the December Board of Education meeting.  (His brother was last month's honoree.)  Keep up the good work!



Senior Projects 

CJ seniors were able to apply and show off their knowledge with their final projects.  The required projects must be related to the  student's career-technical area of study and include a written research paper and an oral presentation in front of a panel of judges.  This senior chose to explore the world of EMT's, studying their training, job, salary, etc. 



CJ Students Winners!
Three CJ students teamed up to win first place in the Crime Scene Investigation category of the recent SkillsUSA contest.  This win qualified them to compete in the SkillsUSA State Contest.  Best wishes as you go forward in competition.  

 
Guys With Gloves  
Thanks to the Ashland County Sheriff's Department Bomb Squad deputies who gave visiting 6th grade boys a taste of a law enforcement career during the Guys With Gloves event.  

Student of the Month for February
Criminal Justice can boast of having the Junior Student of the Month for February.  This CJ student has eyes on the Navy following graduation next year.
