Adult Education Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to a graduating student from Ashland County West-Holmes Career Center, Ashland High School, Hillsdale High School, Loudonville High School, Mapleton High School, or West Holmes High School who enrolls in an ACWHCC 600-900 hour program within two years of graduation.
American Indian Education Fund
The Undergraduate Scholarship service* supports educational opportunities for American Indian and Alaska Native students by awarding more than 200 scholarships annually. Applications submitted by eligible Native American students each spring are reviewed by members of the Scholarship Committee, who award the competitive grants. Up to $2,000 per year is paid directly to each recipient’s college or university.

Are residents of COAD's service area
Want to attend institutions of higher education
Lack the required resources to do so
To enable students to attend an accredited institution of higher education by awarding scholarship assistance.
To increase participation rates of COAD service area students who attend institutions of higher education.
To provide, when possible and desired, summer employment opportunities to selected scholarship recipients in cooperation with COAD-member Community Action Agencies.
EGIA Foundation Scholarship
This Scholarship Program was established to recognize excellent and deserving students seeking an HVAC technical education. This scholarship provides essential financial support to aspiring residential HVAC, or home performance contracting careers. Up to 20 eligible students will be awarded a $2,500 scholarship to pursue an HVAC degree or certificate at an accredited community college, technical/vocational school, or approved technical institute.
Horatio Alger Career and Technical Scholarship
Scholarships are awarded to students who have faced and overcome great obstacles in their lives who wish to pursue a career or technical education at an accredited non-profit post-secondary institution
in the United States.

The PHCC Educational Foundation and its industry partners are teaming up to provide financial assistance to students pursuing a career in the plumbing or heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration industry. Over 40 scholarships available.
Nuts, Bolts, & Thingamajigs Scholarship
Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs® (NBT) is the charitable foundation of the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, International® (FMA). Our purpose is to support individuals in discovering their interest in manufacturing and to encourage the pursuit of a manufacturing career.
Pocket Nurse Scholarship
The Pocket Nurse Scholarship Fund was created at The Pittsburgh Foundation by Pocket Nurse, a nurse owned and operated company, to assist qualified applicants to pursue their education in the fields of Allied Health, Nursing, and Nursing Faculty.
Richland County Foundation Scholarship
Must be a Richland County resident or graduate from a Richland County high school and demonstrate financial need. New applicants must achieve a 2.5 GPA or above and previous scholarship recipients applying for a scholarship must achieve at least a 2.0 GPA. The deadline for applying for college scholarships is April 1.
Trane Technician of the Future Scholarship
Trane Technologies Company LLC has established a scholarship program to assist students who plan to pursue HVAC (Heating, ventilation, and Air Conditioning) degree or certification or building automation technician technology related degree or certification in college or vocational school programs.
Volstead Holdings Scholarship
Ohio has a long history of inventing and building things. The purpose of the Volstead Holdings Scholarship is to allow residents of central and northeast Ohio to continue this tradition through technical post-secondary education in fields related to design, construction, manufacturing, and logistics. An emphasis is placed on skilled trades and technical academic fields.
