Financing is one of the major obstacles for adults who wish to further their education.  Often these adults have family responsibilities and do not work at a job that would provide the extra income needed for tuition, books, supplies, etc.  Because such funding is sometimes very difficult to find, the Adult Education Department is working with the Ashland County Community Foundation in establishing an endowed award fund, the interest from which will be available to eligible adult education students.
