Phlebotomy

This program offers up to 100 hours of classroom instruction and hands-on, one-on-one clinical training; plus 100 hours of externship training provided off site at an actual hospital or outpatient lab

Successful completers of this program will have met the requirements to sit for the International Academy of Phlebotomy's certification exam.

Classroom instruction includes:

• Basic Anatomy/Physiology           
• Medical Terminology
• Infection Control
• Clinical Procedures
• CPR/ Basic First Aid
• (Additional fee for CPR

Clinical Training includes:

• 4 Blood draw procedures
• Urine collections
• Stool collections
• Drug Screen collections
• Vital Signs

Class starts: September 22, 2008

Evening Classes: Mon, Tues, and Thurs  from 4:30pm to 8:30 pm

Course Cost:  $1626.00
