Financial Aid eligibility is determined on an individual basis and applications for assistance should be made at least 60-90 days before the program start date.
Federal Pell Grants - for tuition and related supplies of eligible students enrolled in 600-900 hour programs. Apply to the financial aid officer using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), available at he Adult Education office or apply on-line.Click to apply online!!
Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grand (SEOG) - additional funds available to PELL eligible students based on exceptional need.
Workforce Investment Act (WIA) - for tuition and related supplies of eligible students enrolled in approved job training and enhancement programs. Contact your county Department of Job and Family Services, One-Stop WIA unit.
Trade Adjustment Assistance (TRA/TAA) - services to eligible students may include reemployment services, job search allowances, retraining, and income support to workers unemployed due to foreign trade.
Ohio Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation (BVR) - evaluation and training to eligible individuals with conditions that affect their employability. Contact your local office listed in the phone book.
Veterans' Education Benefits - The U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs administers education benefits to eligible veterans through various programs that serve those with military service and their families
